Contemporary crystal compositions — sculptural, architectural, and made to the space rather than to a catalog number.
Contemporary, not classical
The contemporary collections are where Berkana's design work happens. Iceberg, Petalume, Water, Seashell, Glittering Eye, Elementis and Stream are design languages rather than fixed models: each establishes a form, a way of cutting and hanging crystal, and a range of scale that a project draws from.
Built for the volume
Contemporary pieces are most often specified for double-height entrances, stairwells and open-plan rooms, where the fixture is read from several levels at once. Scale, drop and density are set to the volume, which is why almost every one of these projects is customized in some way.
